Based on the best-selling novel from Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter Scott Smith, “The Ruins” follows a group of vacationing friends who visit a remote archaeological dig in the Mexican jungle and are quickly entangled in a brutal struggle for survival against the evils hidden within.

Enter Amy (Jena Malone) and Stacy (Laura Ramsey), two best friends who bring along their very different boyfriends—focused med student Jeff (Jonathan Tucker) and free-spirited partier Eric (Shawn Ashmore).
